Charlie Moskowitz

With over a dozen years of experience in the policy and regulatory world, Charlie is an expert in the ways of Washington. He spent a decade on Capitol Hill, serving in the House and the Senate, on committee staff and in personal offices, learning how to solve problems creatively and accomplish policy goals through oversight, investigations and legislation.

He most recently served as the Chief Policy Counsel for the Democratic staff of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. He oversaw policy development and execution for the Democratic staff on the Department of Homeland Security's diverse mission sets, including cybersecurity, customs, border security, immigration, and disaster recovery. The Committee also has jurisdiction over federal acquisition policy, the U.S. Postal Service, federal employee issues, whistleblowers and Inspectors General.

Prior to his Capitol Hill experience, Charlie was an attorney in the international trade practice group at Hogan and Hartson, LLP (now Hogan Lovells). He focused on customs issues, advising clients on the effects of free trade agreements and helping them navigate U.S. customs laws and regulations. He also previously worked in the marketing department at the National Basketball Association.

Charlie holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from Fordham Law School.
